Each player receives six cards. The lowest trump opens the first attack. Cover a card with a higher card of the same suit, or a trump. A trump beats another trump only if its rank is higher.
Throw in ranks already on the table, up to six attack cards and no more than the defender had at the start. Pass ends your attacks for this round. Once all attackers pass, a fully defended table is Bito; a taking defender picks up the table and misses the next attack.
Classic: everyone except the defender can throw in. Transferable: only the lead attacker throws in; the defender can transfer. Hybrid: all players can throw in and the defender can transfer.
Transfer with the same rank before defending any card. The next player must have enough cards. You may transfer back in a two-player game.
2–6 players use 52 cards. 7–10 use 72 cards. Order: 2–10, 11–15, J, Q, K, A. Draw back to six, lead attacker first and defender last. After the deck is empty, empty-handed players are out. The last player holding cards loses. If everyone finishes together, it's a draw.
On timeout: the lead attacks with a low card, an undefended table is taken, or attackers pass. Surrender ends the game with that player as the loser.
Your table will finish and this game will count as a loss for you.
